Azhar & Azhar law firm’s client filed an I-130 petition on October 01, 2009 that carried 11 months and 10 days of eligibility under the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA). The case included a child who was exactly 21 years, 6 months, and 1 day old when the visa became available almost 15 years later on March 01, 2024. With only 5 months remaining of CSPA eligibility, attorney Noaman Azhar was able to work with the U.S. Embassy in Mumbai and secure the family an expedited interview date to ensure the child could receive his visa before he “aged-out.” On March 5th, the U.S. embassy in Mumbai granted clients an immigrant visa interview for April 25th to complete their immigrant visa processing. Immediately after the interview, everyone in the family was issued visas allowing them all to immigrate to the United States.
