Our client, a citizen of Jordan, came to the US as an F-1 student, but fell out of status. He married a US citizen, but when placed in deportation proceedings, the immigration judge denied the case. Attorney Furqan appealed the judge’s decision, and the Board of Immigration Appeals granted the appeal, allowing the client to continue the case. In 2022, attorney Furqan litigated his case arguing that he was eligible for permanent residency. The immigration judge took the case under advisement for 4 years, and finally approved the case in 2026.
